Event Type: 01 Team Size: 01 There shall be three rounds in the competition: Round 1 - Macro Photography Round 2 - Fashion Photography Round 3 - Catch the moment! -o- The photographs for all the 3 rounds should be captured only in Lovely Professional University and during the Youth vibe 2015. -o- Each round will be held on different days and participants should submit 5 best photos on each day to the venue which will be intimated later. -o- Each round shall be evaluated separately and the winner shall be decided on the cumulative score of all the rounds. -o- The collection of the top five photographers of the competition shall be showcased at the silver screen event scheduled on the closing day of the festival. -o- The entry must be the original work of the student. -o- Photographs must be in digital format. -o- No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest. -o- All digital files must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image). -o- No editing is allowed except cropping. -o- High dynamic range (HDR) images and stitched panoramas are NOT acceptable. -o- Any changes to the original photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the photograph ineligible for a prize. -o- The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

This year, (like all year) Ad making, where you make ads for products to have your target audience in splits going to crack the success. -o- There is no fixed theme for the ads, but any film bordering on vulgarity/racism will be disqualified. -o- Ads should be an authenticated work. Any deviation from this rule will lead to disqualification. -o- The duration of the ad should be not be more than 2 minutes. -o- The production team should not exceed more than 5. -o- Ad should be made minimum with "5 Megapixel camera". -o- Completed ads must be submitted before (date specified) in mpeg (MPG, MPEG4) or .avi formats only. -o- Even if you are good in designing, you can showcase your talent.as for the first time animated ads are also entertained. -o- Limited or no use of copyrighted material is allowed. The Short Film making competition (Entertainment/Fiction) Ever thought of making a movie on your own? Here is your chance to produce a completely entertainment/fiction based short film. Director's cut is a short film making competition in which a group of students are required to make an entertainment or fiction based feature film not exceeding duration of 15 minutes. It must be noted that all the technical requirement of the film such as Direction, Lead Acting, Cinematography, Camera Work, Screen Play, Background Score, etc. must be fulfilled by the students only and no professional support should be sought. In case any professional support is taken, it shall lead to immediate disqualification from the event. Event Type: Group Team Size: 1-15 Date of submission of films: 30th October 2015 Date of event: 31st October 2015 In addition to the best film & runner up film, the following awards (non-cash) shall also be awarded: -o- Best Direction -o- Best Actor -o- Best Actress -o- Best Cinematography -o- Best Story -o- Best Background Score -o- Best Special Effects -o- Best Screen Play -o- Best Editing (Video)
-o- Your short film should not be longer than 15 minutes and not shorter than 3 minutes.
-o- The entry must be the original work of the student(s).
-o- The production team size should not exceed 15 and shall not be less than 5 including all actors and actresses (scenes where the crowd is involved is acceptable without being counted in the production team).
-o- Limited use of copyrighted material will be permitted in the entry so long as it is a lawful or "fair" use, and so long as such use does not overwhelm the contribution of the student(s).
-o- Please make sure that your finished short film is under 1.5 GB in size and that it is in one of the following video formats: .AVI/ .MOV /.MPG/ .MPG2/ .MPEG2 /.MPEG4 /.MP4/ .WMV and bring it in HDD or PD only.
-o- By submitting an entry, entrants represent that their entries constitute original works of creativity that do not violate the property rights of any other person, and grant YOUTH VIBE '14 the right to exhibit, distribute, televise and otherwise use the entries in various media.
-o- At least one of the members of the production team must be physically present at the showcase in order to answer the questions of the judging panel.

Alfred Hitchcock Real to reel is a documentary making competition in which a group of students are required to make a non-entertainment, non-fictitious documentary not exceeding 15 minutes with an objective to depict some theme, a story or an inspiration.
